Women's Retreats
Do you ever feel stuck, overwhelmed, even paralyzed by all that is going on around you? A WAY…Horses are sentient creatures. This means that their way of interacting with their environment is primarily through their senses. They feel things about us that we don’t even know we’re putting out there. Let’s think of them as living and breathing emotional barometers of sorts. Have you ever said something that you didn’t mean or acted in such a way that was opposite to how you really felt? You can’t do this with horses. Horses know better and can help us identify thoughts and behaviors that aren’t working for us, so we can start looking for what does. Unconventional? Maybe! But utilizing horses in therapy has proven to be very effective! You are not required to ride a horse. Absolutely no riding experience is necessary. If you choose to ride, you will do so in a supportive, caring and safe environment. A TIME...September 10 - 12 or October 1-3, 2010 or choose a date that works for your group of 4 or more. Your stay includes lodging, delicious and healthful meals, snack and beverage service, wine with dinner, all horse activities, and a massage. You owe it to yourself and the ones who love you, to take some “you-time” once in a while. For centuries barely visible communication on non-verbal levels formed powerful partnerships between horses and riders. These time-tested ancient skills are proving to be excellent management and leadership training points.
